Take the First StepDepth-Oriented Therapy for Mind and Body
I offer individual therapy and Brainspotting group therapy, both grounded in depth-oriented, nervous-system-informed care. The modalities shift based on what's emerging. The relationship stays steady.
Individual TherapyOne-on-One, at Your Pace
One-on-one sessions tailored to your history, your nervous system, and what you're working through. We move at your pace: weekly, bi-weekly, or as-needed.
This isn't about fixing what's wrong with you. It's about helping your nervous system access more choice. If any of these resonate, we might be a good fit.
Anxiety that won't quit
Unresolved or developmental trauma
Attachment patterns affecting your relationships
Complex PTSD
Relationship dynamics that keep repeating
People-pleasing and difficulty with boundaries
Identity and self-worth
Feeling stuck despite insight and self-awareness
“I don’t sugarcoat, but I lead with care.”
Brainspotting GroupBrainspotting Group Therapy
Brainspotting Group Therapy for Self-Love and Secure Attachment is a weekly online group grounded in the depth of Brainspotting and the relational power of being seen. Something shifts when you do this work in the presence of others who are also prioritizing care, growth, and connection.
This isn't group therapy in the traditional sense. No one will ask you to share your story out loud. Each person does their own internal processing while the group holds space. Pacing, choice, and safety guide every session.
No previous Brainspotting experience is required.
All group participants will receive a complimentary 45-minute individual orientation session with Esma before their first group therapy session and a digital therapeutic resourcing guide to support nervous-system regulation and integration between sessions.
How I workTherapeutic Modalities
I don't use just one approach. I pull from multiple evidence-based modalities based on what the moment calls for.
PrimaryBrainspotting
A powerful, brain-body approach that accesses unprocessed trauma and emotional material by using your visual field to locate and process "brainspots" — points where the body holds activation. It bypasses the thinking brain to access what talk therapy often can't reach.
PrimaryACT, CBT & DBT
Evidence-based frameworks that build concrete skills — identifying thought patterns, developing distress tolerance, and learning to act from your values rather than your anxiety. I draw on these as needed, woven into the deeper relational work.
IntegrativeInternal Family Systems
IFS works with the "parts" of you — the protector who people-pleases, the inner critic that won't shut up, the exile carrying old pain. We get to know them, understand their role, and help them update to the present.
IntegrativeSomatic Approaches
Your body keeps the score. Somatic work means paying attention to what your nervous system is doing — the tightness, the numbness, the activation — and using that information as a doorway into deeper processing.
“My therapeutic approach is one of wholeness. Rather than finding temporary relief of symptoms, I help clients find lasting growth and healing.”
The Practical DetailsWhat to Expect
I see clients via telehealth throughout California. Sessions are custom tailored to your needs, and we'll find a rhythm that works for your life and your goals.
Clients who work with me often value having a highly attentive therapeutic experience with the flexibility to engage in a way that supports their needs and schedule.
Sessions are conversational and relaxed, while still being intentional and clinically guided. You'll always know what we're working on and why.
Individual Therapy- 45 minute sessionsIndividual Therapy – Weekly ($275/ session)
Best for clients who want consistent momentum and ongoing support.
Individual Therapy – Every Other Week
Some clients prefer a bi-weekly rhythm that allows time for integration while making therapy more financially manageable.
Individual Therapy As-Needed Sessions
Clients may also schedule sessions only when support is needed, typically ranging from 0–3 sessions per month. This option works well for clients who want professional support available without committing to a weekly schedule.
Brainspotting Group Therapy - 60 minute sessionsBrainspotting Group Therapy Weekly/Flexible Attendance ($97/session)
A powerful space for emotional processing, nervous system regulation in a supportive group setting, while making therapy more accessible and financially manageable.
Combined CareBrainspotting Group + Individual Therapy As-Needed
A way to maintain ongoing therapeutic support while reserving individual time for the moments that matter most and making therapy more financially manageable.
InsuranceI’m an out-of-network provider. Mentaya automatically submits claims to your insurance after each session, so you don’t have to deal with paperwork or submit anything yourself. Most clients with out-of-network benefits get 60–80% of their session costs reimbursed.

Flexible treatment optionsCombining Group & Individual Sessions: A Flexible Approach
Many clients choose to combine options for the best of both worlds.
For example, some clients:
• Attend Brainspotting group sessions weekly
• Schedule individual therapy sessions only when deeper personal work is needed
This approach allows clients to maintain ongoing therapeutic support while reserving individual time for the moments that matter most and making therapy more financially manageable.
Choosing the Right Approach
Every client’s needs, goals, and circumstances are different. During our initial consultation, we can explore which structure may be the best fit for you.
Whether you prefer consistent individual sessions, flexible support, or a combination of group and individual work, the goal is to create a therapeutic experience that feels both meaningful and sustainable.
