Telehealth in san diego

San Diego is a place where life looks good on the surface. There’s a culture here of balance — of staying active, positive, and keeping things moving. From the outside, it can seem like everything is working. But many of the people I work with carry a quieter internal experience that doesn’t quite match that image.

Even when life looks full and steady, something can still feel off in relationships or within themselves. In a place where things feel easy and flowing, it can be harder to pause and name what’s not fully working — or to admit that something deeper wants attention..

Anxiety, relational difficulty, and attachment patterns don’t always announce themselves clearly. They can show up as tension you can’t explain, relationships that feel effortful, a persistent sense of not being enough despite doing everything right. These patterns often trace back to early relational dynamics — sometimes rooted in trauma — ways of coping that were once necessary and are now limiting.

The therapeutic work I do reaches beyond surface-level conversation. Brainspotting, IFS, and somatic approaches work with the nervous system directly, addressing patterns where they’re stored rather than just where they’re expressed. I offer individual and group therapy online for adults throughout California.

Common questions

FAQ

How does online therapy work for clients in San Diego?

All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth, so you can work with me from San Diego without commuting to an office. Brainspotting, IFS, and somatic approaches all translate well to video — and many clients find that processing in their own space, where the nervous system is already in familiar surroundings, actually supports deeper work.

What’s the difference between individual and group therapy?

Individual therapy offers a private, one-on-one space to go deep into your specific patterns — we work with Brainspotting, IFS, and somatic approaches tailored to what’s emerging for you. Brainspotting Group Therapy is a weekly session where you process alongside others in a structured, guided format. Some clients do both; others find that one pathway suits them better. Neither is more effective than the other — they work differently.
