BILLING AND PAYMENTS
Payment is to be made immediately after each session. No longer than 24hrs after the session. Future sessions will not be scheduled until the latest session has been paid for in full.
If you become involved in legal proceedings that require your therapist’s participation, you will be expected to pay for all of your therapist’s professional time, including preparation and transportation costs, even if your therapist is called to testify by another party. Because of the difficulty of legal involvement, your therapist charges $500 per hour for preparation and attendance at any legal proceeding.
Clients are required to keep a valid credit card on file at all times. This card will be charged for regular therapy sessions, late cancellations, no-shows, and any other fees you may incur. Session fees are due in full at the end of each therapy session. You are responsible for keeping the card information current, including providing new information if the card information changes or the account has insufficient funds to cover payment. Refunds for therapy sessions will not be given for any reason.
This practice offers a professional service that is paid for at the end of each session, and once payment is received, it is not refundable. If there is a balance from an unpaid session, your therapist cannot schedule you for another session until the balance has been paid in full.
Session fees are determined before the onset of therapy and are subject to change with a 30-day written notice no more than once per calendar year. A fee increase can occur as your therapist gains more specialized experience in the field of psychotherapy.
CANCELATIONS
A $200 cancellation fee will apply to any cancellation with less than a 48-hour advance notice.
There is no cancellation fee when 48 hours advance notice is provided.
A “No Show” is when a client does not show up for their session and does not provide notice. The full session rate will apply to all No Shows.
(Please be aware that insurance reimbursement does not cover cancellation fees and no shows)
After two cancellations within 60 calendar days your specific timeslot may no longer be reserved for you. Your therapist may adjust scheduling to a first-come-first-serve basis.
